Every now and then I get asked to come and photograph a family in the place that means the most to them. Their home. Your home is your castle they say, so why wouldn’t you want to freeze time in the place you spend the most time together. The place where memories are made. The place you might have brought your baby home from the hospital. The place your 5 year old lost their first tooth. The place your ten year old got their first stitches from jumping off the fence. The place that brings a smile to your face when you think of it. The place that allows you to rest peacefully at night, surrounded by the people you love. The place you call home. Shooting in the Saxton family home was an absolute pleasure. Lou and Dan were so welcoming and I just adored their home. It was topped off with one of the sweetest little girls, baby Edith who was ready and willing to play with the lady with the big camera!
